This not-for-profit zine aims to create a showcase of the Disco Elysium fandom's talents! Have something you love drawing? Have something you can't get enough of? Have an idea you've been meaning to get out? Share it here, with us!

You will be asked for a piece that reflects what you love most about the game / what is most personal to you. The piece should tie into a lyric or a set of lyrics from a song. These lyrics may be included in the piece itself or be used as the title. This can be any song that has ever existed.

The idea is that through celebrating this game, we keep its world and its characters and its story alive. With our love for Disco Elysium, we save it from dissolving into the Pale. We save it from being forgotten, from being erased from memory. We come together and through our love for the game, we preserve it.

This is why we will be known as the Counter-Pale Resistance. This is why the title of our zine will be Pale_, struck-through.

As the lines of an old song go, "All of this belongs to you. All of this belongs to me. All of this belongs to us. And it goes on endlessly."

OPEN (This form closes on JULY 19th, 2024, 11:59 PM EST.)

Think of this form as an RSVP! This will basically reserve your spot in the zine. You will sign up here, and when the sign up closes, I will open a form for submissions. IF YOU DO NOT FILL THIS SIGN UP SHEET, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SUBMIT YOUR ART TO THE ZINE. Please only apply once! Only one medium will be allowed for submission.

Anyone is free to join. There will be no application process. Submissions are planned to be due mid-September.

Participants will be asked for ONE PIECE of art. It can be one type of medium or a mix of mediums.

Artists are asked for 1 piece of art that features a clean sketch, clean lineart, or no lineart that is fully colored or toned (includes grayscale / monotone). Comic artists are asked for five (5) pages maximum! Art must be polished and writing legible, and it must be at least toned includes grayscale / monotone). Writers are asked for one (1) piece of writing no longer than five thousand words (5k). The writing can be prose, a poem, a script, etc. It must be in English and preferably should be polished! Other mediums will be allowed on a case-by-case basis!

Collaborations (collabs) are allowed as well, but you will have to talk to me about who will be in it!

Mix of mediums are allowed as well as long as they are related to each other and form one piece.

"Updaam After Dark" is a fanzine covering Blackreef and its many secrets and mysteries.

A few important ones to highlight here are:

'Updaam After Dark' is a zine dedicated to celebrating Deathloop's third anniversary. Hence, all content in it must stay on topic. We understand that because Deathloop and Dishonored are set in the same universe, and this zine is dedicated to fan theories and such, some overlap will occur. However, you should center Backreef and/or its inhabitants in your creations.

Contributors will retain all rights to their submission after the zine releases.

All contributions made to the zine must be original and unpublished.

Rules surrounding the content and format of your submission vary depending on whether it's a fic, art, or something else.

If you want to participate, but haven't done anything like this before, and aren't quite sure what to make and how everything works, don't hesitate to drop us an ask here.

I've been helping out with the big @fiabex exchange, and the final deadline passed last night, and there are— a lot of pinch hits from people who didn't make deadline. A lot of people had a bad October. It took three posts to post them all. All of these gifts have to be fulfilled before the exchange opens.

The reason I am here today though is that there's a segment of MCYT on the pinch hit list, and it's always hard to fill MCYT pinch hits cause there are less MCYT people who do exchanges! So here I offer you the breakdown of the mcyt pinch hits:

If these have gone out for pinch hit, this means that these people have already delivered a gift of at least this amount, and they need an equivalent gift. The due date is November 13th at Midnight EST— can you get a gift written in that time?

But wait, you could maybe write 1k, but not the 3k that PH 72 needs— that's fine! We can take it in small bites. You can just tell the mods that you can take 1k (or 2k, or however much you can take) and then the mods will drop the "needs amount" to 2k, and then we're that much closer to everyone having a gift. If 8 people do 1k, we can get WhyB completely covered!

If you can write a gift fast, adhering to someone's Do Not Want list, about the requested characters or worldbuilding prompts, you might be exactly what we need here. We've got Emduo requests! Animations family! DSMP Fiances! Scarian! Fitpac! Cletho! Boat boys! Preyduo! Watchers prompts!

You can take a pinch hit by either commenting on the dreamwidth post where the PH you want is posted here (tell them the pinch hit you want, an email to reach you, how much you want to take, and the Ao3 account you'll be posting from), or emailing the mods at ficinaboxmod@gmail.com— (tell them the pinch hit you want, how much you want to take, and the Ao3 account you'll be posting from, they already have your email, but check the post to see if the PH has been claimed before you email just to save yourself some time).

Signups are open for Spring Festival, a 2025 Lunar New Year speedrun zine!

This will be a free digital zine, but you'll only get two weeks at most to finalize your creations. We're looking for artists, writers, beta readers, and more, regardless of skill or experience! Everyone that signs up will be accepted, even if it's your first time participating in something like this.

Spring Festival will be multifandom/OC, meaning you have absolutely no limits on what to create—as long as it fits into one of our six themes (to be announced soon).

This zine is a wincest/gencest focused zine about Sam and Dean growing up Winchester (aka Weechesters)

The zine is divided into two sections with Sam and Dean as children and as teenagers .

From innocent kids just learning about hunting and spending their days alternating between sibling fights and teasing and depending on each other for comfort and joy and survival while they bond and cuddle in the backseat of Baby on a monstrous tour of America led by a father bent on revenge.

To angsty teens dealing with hormones and rebellion and questions about what their futures hold and crossing the line from brothers and hunting partners to something much deeper.

This zine is about the strange fucked up childhood and early adulthood that made Sam and Dean psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent.

Inanimate Fansanity Fanzine Project!

Ive always wanted to organize and host a zine, i thought its be pretty cool. and since II has ended, why not take the opportunity to make an II themed zine?

For this project, we’re calling for WRITERS and ARTISTS from the II fandom!

Every major character will receive their own page in the fanzine, and there will also be room for analysis pages and for-fun content (such as games and coloring pages)

This was just a silly concept my brain conjured up, so it may or may not have the possibilty of being made physically, but when it is complete all of the digital files will be made available!

The cover will be a collaborative project and feature all of the contestants + hosts + cohosts drawn by different artists.

This project is purely for fun! Artists and writers of all ages and skillsets are encouraged to partake! I will try my best to ensure everyone who signs up gets a role ^^!! The only requirement is that you must have a Discord (for contacting) and must be +13 (as per Discord usage TOS). As of right now there is also no deadline, but we do set to finish the project at least within a few months at the latest!

If you’re interested in participating, please fill out this google form! Roles will be assigned in 3 days, but you are still free to sign up even after that point in case we need extra roles filled (but know that it’s not guaranteed once the window closes)!
